How would ordinary soldiers get around in a battle?

The majority of ancient Egyptian soldiers would have marched from one place to another on foot. Often there were groups of archers standing behind the soldiers who shot arrows at the enemy while the foot soldiers advanced.

How did the pharaoh usually travel around Egypt to see his kingdom?

The easiest way to travel from one place to another in ancient Egypt was in a boat on the Nile. The pharaoh had a special barge for travelling to different parts of Egypt.
