The explore section is centred around a cut-away model of an ancient Egyptian temple. Pupils can decide which rooms they would like to find out about, and explore them in whatever order they wish. Within each room are clickable statues, architectural elements, and wall reliefs. The challenge introduces the number system used by the ancient Egyptians in the context of an ancient Egyptian temple. The activity teaches the basic principles of ancient Egyptian numbers, while presenting the idea of the temple as an centre of economic activity in an ancient Egyptian town.
